The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) vide Circular No. 12/2015 Dated 01/09/2015has further extended the last date for filing a Cost Audit Report in Form CRA-4 without any penalization fee to 30th September, 2015.
This is in continuance of the MCA’s earlier circular extending the due date to 31stAugust, 2015.
Companies are required to file CRA-4 with the MCA within the ordained period of 30 days, from the date of receipt of the Cost Audit Report by the Company.
Along the same lines, any additional fees payable beyond the stipulated period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of Cost Audit is waived off.
This is applicable to Cost Audit received from the Cost Auditor for the Financial Year starting on or after 1stApril, 2014 is waived for all such filings till 30thSeptember, 2015.
However CRA-4 is not yet made available in the MCA-21 portal.
